Courier Supervisor

As a Courier Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be overseeing a team of couriers and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of packages. You will be responsible for managing schedules, training new employees, and monitoring the overall performance of the couriers. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as excellent communication and organization abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of couriers, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies
- Create and maintain schedules for couriers, making adjustments as needed to accommodate changes in workload or staffing
- Train new employees on company procedures, safety protocols, and best practices for delivering packages
- Monitor courier performance to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and coaching as necessary
- Communicate with clients regarding any delays or issues with deliveries, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Oversee the maintenance of delivery vehicles, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, expenses, and employee work hours
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations across the organization

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or logistics is preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the courier industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset
- Proven organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
