Live-Out Caregiver

As a Live-Out Caregiver in Porto, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to individuals who require assistance with their daily activities. Your duties may include assisting with personal hygiene, administering medication, preparing meals, and providing companionship. You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a caregiver, be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have excellent communication skills. A caring and empathetic nature is essential for this role. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Candidate Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent qualification preferred
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Fluent in Portuguese (English proficiency is an asset)

Working Conditions:
This is a live-out position in Porto without accommodation provided. The caregiver will work full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed. The work environment may vary depending on the client's home but will primarily involve indoor settings.
