IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly-skilled IT Manager to join our team in Faro. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes managing a team of IT professionals, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the use of technology within the company
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of all hardware, software, and networking systems
- Ensure the security and integrity of all data and information systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise and provide timely resolutions
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology to recommend new solutions that will improve efficiency and productivity
- Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware, software, and other technology needs
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or disasters

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology management roles
- Proven experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of network administration, network security, database management, and cloud computing
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Knowledge of industry standards for data privacy (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport is preferred

Salary: $1800/month
