IT Manager - Faro, Portugal

As an IT Manager in our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall information technology operations and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining computer systems, networks, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the industry to recommend improvements and upgrades.
- Oversee all hardware and software installations, updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure data security by implementing backup systems, firewalls, disaster recovery plans, etc.
- Evaluate current systems to identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware and software procurement.
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, security protocols, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-tech individuals.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal (accommodation provided)
