Job Title: Technical Support Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Faro! Our company is a leading provider of technology solutions and we are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and has a strong technical background.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, both remotely and in person. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and configuring new systems, and providing training to clients on how to use our products effectively.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. You must also be able to work well under pressure and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Set up and configure new systems for clients
- Train clients on how to use our products effectively
- Document all support activities and resolutions
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or engineers when necessary
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer service oriented mindset
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This position is a full-time contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent employment.

Location: Faro, Portugal. This position does not include accommodation but we can assist with finding suitable housing options.

Visa and ticket: Our company will provide a free visa and round-trip ticket for the successful candidate.
