Back-End Developer

We are in search of an experienced and highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Faro. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the back-end of our web applications. You must have a deep understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, and PHP, as well as experience with databases and server technologies. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month, along with accommodation provided if desired. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work independently while also collaborating with other team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing the back-end of web applications
- Writing efficient code using various programming languages
- Troubleshooting issues and debugging code
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into applications
- Working closely with database administrators to ensure system stability and performance
- Conducting research on emerging technologies and tools to improve back-end development processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with databases (e.g. MySQL) and server technologies (e.g. Apache)
- Knowledge of security principles and how they apply to web development
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
