DevOps Developer


Our growing company is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Faro. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$. We are looking for someone with experience in the field, but we are also open to freshers who possess the necessary skills and knowledge.

As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's software infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and managing the systems that support our software development process. You will work closely with our development team to ensure smooth integration and deployment of code changes.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development and system administration. You should also have experience with automation tools, such as Jenkins or Ansible, as well as knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is also highly desirable.

Key responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing automated deployment processes
- Managing configuration management tools
- Ensuring high availability of our systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall software infrastructure
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in the production environment
- Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and implementing them within our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in DevOps or related role
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
