DevOps Developer


We are hiring a DevOps Developer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the systems that support our software development processes. This includes designing and implementing automated build pipelines, deploying and monitoring applications in production environments, and handling system configurations.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain automated build pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
- Configure and manage production environments using modern tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the development team
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployment of code changes to production environments
- Manage system configurations using tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends related to DevOps practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby
- Experience working with modern CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Previous experience in a DevOps role within a software development company

This is a contract position offering a salary of $1000 per month. Visa sponsorship is available if needed. We welcome applications from students who meet the experience requirements.
