Junior Machine Learning Engineer


A fast-growing tech company in Faro is seeking a Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual with a strong interest in machine learning and data science.

As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with our senior engineers and data scientists to gather requirements, analyze data, and build scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop machine learning models and algorithms using cutting-edge technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends
- Design experiments to test the performance of machine learning models
- Optimize algorithms for scalability, efficiency, and accuracy
- Stay updated on the latest developments in machine learning and data science

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
- Experience with popular machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Knowledge of statistical methods and tools for data analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or project experience in machine learning or data science
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
