Junior JAVA Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior JAVA Developer to join our team in Faro. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with senior developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in JAVA development to grow their skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test and debug software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements
- Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of JAVA development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in software development using JAVA/J2EE technologies
- Knowledge of web application development using Spring framework
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins or Docker
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal (relocation assistance available for non-local candidates)

Type: Contract (6 months) with possibility of extension/permanent placement for exceptional performers.
