QA Engineer

Position: QA Engineer
Location: Faro, Portugal (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1000 per month + accommodation

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Faro. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for non-EU applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve overall product quality
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features do not introduce new issues
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with both manual and automated testing of web applications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent experience
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
