Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular security assessments and identifying any vulnerabilities or risks
- Implementing and maintaining security measures, such as firewalls and encryption tools
- Monitoring systems for suspicious activity and responding to security incidents
- Developing and updating company policies and procedures related to information security
- Training employees on security protocols and awareness
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001
- Staying updated on emerging threats and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate them

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Knowledge of network security protocols, tools, and technologies
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR) and industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: 1800$ per month
