Information Security Analyst


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Faro, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments on company systems
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious or malicious activity
- Investigate security breaches and recommend solutions to prevent future incidents
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and industry best practices
- Provide training and guidance to employees on security protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures across all systems
- Monitor access controls and permissions to ensure only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security roles
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Knowledge of encryption techniques, secure coding practices, and data privacy regulations (such as GDPR)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (such as AWS or Azure) is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal (local candidates preferred)

Employment Type: Contract (minimum 1 year)

Visa Sponsorship: Not available. Candidates must have their own visa/work permit.
