Data Mining Analyst

We are hiring a Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Faro. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to uncover insights and patterns that can inform business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in data mining tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use data mining software and techniques to identify patterns and trends
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast future outcomes
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, charts, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Continuously monitor and improve the quality of data used in decision-making processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience with data mining tools such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS
- Strong knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with database management systems and data visualization tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Good communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical audiences

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Faro, Portugal (open for remote work)
