Software Tester

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Faro. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and user requirements. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and report bugs, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Test software applications for functionality, usability, performance, and security
- Identify and report bugs using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
- Work with product managers to understand user requirements and provide feedback on usability
- Develop test plans and test cases based on user stories
- Execute manual and automated tests according to test plans
- Document test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Experience with manual testing techniques, including functional, integration, regression, and usability testing
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary: $1000 per month (without accommodation)
Location: Faro, Portugal (own visa required)
