Plasterboard Worker

As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard in commercial and residential buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific areas, installing insulation and vapor barriers, and finishing surfaces with tape, joint compound, and sanding. You may also be required to cover walls and ceilings with decorative plaster or apply texture coatings.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of construction techniques and safety standards. You should also possess excellent hand-eye coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail. Previous experience in carpentry or drywall installation is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Install insulation and vapor barriers as needed
- Secure plasterboard to frames using screws or adhesive
- Finish surfaces with tape, joint compound, sanding tools, etc.
- Cover walls and ceilings with decorative plaster or apply texture coatings
- Inspect work for quality and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in carpentry or drywall installation preferred
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and safety standards
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
