Job Title: Formworker in Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formworker to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of concrete forms for structures such as walls, columns, and beams. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the layout and dimensions of concrete forms
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood or metal panels using hand tools and power tools
- Install various types of formwork including vertical forms, horizontal forms, shoring systems, scaffolding, and rebar supports
- Pour concrete into the forms according to specifications
- Monitor the curing process of concrete and make adjustments as needed
- Remove forms after concrete has set and clean them for reuse
- Inspect completed formwork for accuracy and quality control
- Adhere to all safety regulations on site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems and their installation processes
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in formwork construction
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of concrete properties and curing process
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
