Apprentice Turner

An apprentice turner is responsible for learning and assisting in the operation of lathes, milling machines, and other machinery used in metalworking. They work under the guidance of an experienced turner to develop their skills and knowledge in the trade. The apprentice turner will be based in Faro, Portugal and will receive a salary of 1000$ per month. This is a full-time job with free visa and ticket provided.

Responsibilities:
- Learn how to operate lathes, milling machines, and other metalworking machinery
- Assist experienced turners in their daily tasks
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machining operations
- Use various measuring tools to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- No prior experience is required, but a strong interest in metalworking is preferred
- Must be willing to learn new skills and take direction from experienced turners
- Basic knowledge of technical drawings and measuring tools is a plus
- Physically fit to handle heavy machinery and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
