Entry-Level Metal Worker

We are hiring an entry-level Metal Worker to join our team in Faro. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal products according to specifications. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or work orders to determine product specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on metal materials using rulers, templates, or measuring devices
- Cut, shape, and form metal materials using manual or automated tools such as saws, shears, presses, or drills
- Weld or solder parts together using various techniques including MIG, TIG, or spot welding
- Grind and smooth rough edges or surfaces using hand tools or power tools
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and repair any defects in finished products
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in metalworking
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Physically fit to perform tasks such as bending, lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
