Entry-Level Equipment Operator



We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Equipment Operator in Faro. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials and perform construction tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company procedures
- Conduct pre- and post-operation checks on equipment and report any defects or malfunctions
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks within deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
- Basic understanding of construction processes and equipment operation is preferred but not required
