Metal Fabricator


We are a busy metal fabrication company located in Faro, seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in metalworking and be able to work full time. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, cutting and shaping metal pieces, welding and soldering, and assembling finished products. You must have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Cut and shape metal pieces using various tools such as saws, shears, drills, and grinders
- Weld or solder metal components together according to project requirements
- Assemble finished products by joining individual pieces together
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Follow all safety protocols and wear protective gear at all times while working
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Troubleshoot any issues that may occur during the fabrication process

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding project specifications
- Ability to use various tools such as saws, shears, drills, grinders, etc.
- Strong welding and soldering skills
- Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to metalworking
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one
- Must be able to work full time with occasional overtime if needed
