Contract Architectural Technologist - Faro, Portugal


We are a dynamic architectural firm seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Faro, Portugal on a contract basis. As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with our architects and engineers to assist in the design and development of projects. Your strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, as well as your proficiency in architectural software, will be integral to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop designs for various projects
- Prepare detailed drawings and plans using architectural software
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for project development
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project process
- Assist with the preparation of project proposals and budgets

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is considered an asset)
