We are seeking a talented and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop preservation plans that prioritize the conservation of original materials and features
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation work and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of preserved structures to identify any maintenance needs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience working on preservation projects, preferably with historical buildings or structures
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1800$ per month

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome candidates without previous experience in preservation architecture as we are willing to provide necessary training. Non-EU applicants must have their own valid visa for working in Portugal.
