Entry Level Preservation Architect
Location: Faro, Portugal
We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team in Faro. As an Entry Level Preservation Architect, you will assist with the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. This is a full-time position that does not require previous experience in the field, making it a great opportunity for freshers looking to gain valuable experience in the architecture industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures
- Assist with the preparation of preservation plans and proposals
- Work with senior architects to develop preservation strategies
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Monitor progress and quality of restoration work
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Knowledge of historical architecture and preservation techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software programs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- A passion for preserving historical buildings and structures
