Fitter Technician


Our company, a leading manufacturing company in Faro, is seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of 1700$. We are looking for candidates who are able to work efficiently and have a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble and install mechanical components according to blueprints or diagrams
- Perform regular maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in mechanical engineering preferred
- Prior experience as a fitter or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and diagrams
- Knowledge of different types of hand tools and power tools used in fitting work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
