Excavator Operator



We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Faro. As an excavator operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of construction projects by accurately and safely moving materials and completing tasks according to project plans.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to project plans and specifications
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials using the excavator
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with ground crew
- Dig trenches, level terrain, and perform other tasks as directed by supervisor
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including hours worked, materials moved, etc.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisor

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an excavator operator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as excavators
- Ability to read project plans and specifications accurately
- Strong hand-eye coordination with good depth perception
- Physical strength and stamina to operate equipment for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with ground crew
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Salary:
$1100 USD per month with accommodation provided. We also offer free visa sponsorship and round-trip tickets.
