Excavator Operator


We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Faro. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials. You will also be responsible for inspecting equipment and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to perform various construction and excavation tasks
- Follow safety standards and regulations while operating equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine appropriate actions
- Excavate and grade land according to project specifications
- Safely load and unload materials using excavator bucket or other attachments
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operation of projects

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an excavator operator in a construction or excavation setting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Physical strength and stamina to operate equipment for extended periods of time
- Basic mechanical skills for maintenance tasks
- Must have own accommodation in Faro
Salary: $1400/month (with accommodation)
