Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join our team in Faro. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining records, and performing data entry tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other financial documents
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding payments and invoices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Faro, Portugal
