Junior Accountant

We are in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Preparing financial reports and statements
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Experience Required:
1+ years of experience in an accounting role is required for this position.
