Entry-Level Dietitian


As an entry-level Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing individualized nutrition advice and planning to clients in Faro, Portugal. You will work closely with individuals to develop personalized meal plans based on their health goals, provide education on proper nutrition, and monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. You will also assist in developing and implementing nutrition programs for groups and organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to assess their dietary needs and create personalized meal plans
- Provide education on proper nutrition, including portion control, food groups, and healthy eating habits
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients
- Assist in developing and implementing nutrition programs for groups and organizations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of dietetics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field from an accredited university
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines and ability to apply them in practice
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations

Salary:
Starting salary for this entry-level position is $1600 per month. This includes full-time hours (40 hours per week) with the possibility of overtime pay. Benefits such as health insurance may also be offered.

Accommodation:
For candidates without experience or who are relocating from outside of Faro, our company can provide temporary accommodation for a period of up to three months. We can also assist in finding more permanent housing options if needed.
