Sous Chef
We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a premier restaurant in Faro. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the head chef to plan and create menus
- Oversee and train kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet the restaurant's standards
- Assist with ordering supplies and managing budget
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Safety Certification preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
