As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in the industrial and manufacturing fields. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of these instruments, allowing for accurate measurement and control of processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level sensors
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Install new instruments as needed
- Document all work performed in maintenance logs or computer systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues
- Keep up to date with advancements in instrumentation technology and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or in a related field
- Familiarity with various types of instruments and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, lift heavy objects, etc.
- Accommodation in or near Faro preferred but not required
