Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative in our Faro warehouse, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing merchandise. You will work closely with our warehouse team to ensure that all orders are processed, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications
- Prepare outgoing shipments for transport, including proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain inventory levels and organize warehouse space
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Perform regular quality control checks to ensure accuracy of orders
- Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Basic computer skills for inventory management purposes
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Bilingual (Portuguese/English)
