Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Faro is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, such as tower, mobile, and overhead cranes
- Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure the safety and functionality of the crane
- Maneuver the crane into position according to signals from ground crew or site supervisor
- Lift, move, and position materials and equipment using the crane's controls
- Monitor load weight and ensure that it is within the safe lifting capacity of the crane
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the crane as needed
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures on construction sites

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction environment
- Valid certification or license for operating cranes (Tower Crane Operator Certification preferred)
- Good knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and understand site plans, lift plans, and safety procedures
- Physically fit with excellent hand-eye coordination for operating controls
- Strong communication skills to receive signals from ground crew or site supervisor
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and at heights
