Construction Project Manager


We are in search of an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our upcoming project in Faro. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire project from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery. You will also be responsible for coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
- Oversee all aspects of the construction project from start to finish
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other project personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets
- Identify potential roadblocks and implement solutions to keep the project on track
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders to provide updates on project status
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being completed according to plans and specifications
- Review contracts and negotiate terms with vendors as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate a team towards a common goal
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project Management software knowledge is a plus)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes in Faro is preferred

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for the right candidate. In addition, we provide accommodation and cover the costs of the visa and travel ticket for non-local candidates.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, a beautiful city on the southern coast of Portugal known for its stunning beaches, historic sites, and vibrant culture. While local candidates are preferred, we welcome applicants from other countries who are willing to relocate.
