Part-Time Waiter/Waitress


We are searching for a friendly and competent Part-Time Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a popular restaurant in Faro. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and drink orders, and delivering them to our guests. This position requires a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide them with menus
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and work station
- Assist with setting up tables and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Strong communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have valid work permit or visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens
