Baker (Faro, Portugal)
As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and pastries for our customers in Faro, Portugal. Your main duty will be to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings according to recipes and customer orders. You will also have to operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofing machines.
To excel in this role, you must have a passion for baking and be knowledgeable about different baking techniques. You should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Baker in a professional setting. A culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required.
As part of our team, you will be expected to work efficiently and effectively under pressure. You must be able to follow recipes accurately and pay close attention to details. Good time management skills are also essential in order to meet daily production quotas.
In addition to baking duties, you may also be required to assist with inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This may include restocking ingredients, cleaning equipment and surfaces, and disposing of expired products.
The ideal candidate for this position should be physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy trays or bags of flour. You must also adhere to strict food safety standards at all times.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month without accommodation provided. A biometric passport is necessary for employment as we often cater to international clients who require security clearance.
