Hotel Sales Manager - Faro, Portugal
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for the hotel through various channels, including direct sales, corporate accounts, and travel agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify key areas for business growth
- Create attractive packages and promotions to increase bookings and revenue
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, events, and revenue management to ensure a cohesive approach towards sales efforts
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales, preferably in a managerial role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with clients
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of the local market in Faro is preferred
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month with the potential for bonuses based on performance. This is a part-time position with the possibility for full-time hours in the future.
