IT Manager



The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and systems for our company in Almada. They will lead a team of IT professionals and be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all technology-related operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing complex systems and projects.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all technology systems, including hardware, software, networks, and databases
- Manage a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, system reliability, and compliance with regulations
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Plan and oversee technology upgrades and system migrations
- Stay informed about new technologies and make recommendations for improving systems or processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in information technology management
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networks, databases, and other related technologies
- Experience managing complex projects from conception to completion
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly
- Knowledge of data security regulations
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
