As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall technology strategy and operations of our company in Almada, Portugal. Your main duties will include managing a team of IT professionals, developing and implementing technology plans and policies, ensuring network security and data protection, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in information technology management and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and project management is also essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and managing a team of IT professionals to ensure effective use of technology within the company
- Developing and implementing technology strategies that align with the company's goals
- Maintaining network security and data protection by implementing necessary measures and protocols
- Ensuring smooth operation of all technology systems, including hardware, software, and networks
- Staying updated on industry developments and trends to identify potential opportunities for improvement
- Managing IT projects from start to finish, including budgeting, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborating with other departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Negotiating contracts with vendors for hardware, software licenses, maintenance services, etc.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations of the IT team members and providing necessary training or support when needed.

This is a contract position with accommodation provided if needed. We offer a competitive salary package of $1200 per month along with other benefits such as health insurance.
