We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure, servers, and computer systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our network and systems by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices
- Monitor network performance to ensure efficiency and identify potential issues
- Troubleshoot network issues as they arise and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Maintain security protocols to protect the organization's network from cyber threats
- Install, configure, and maintain servers to support business operations
- Perform regular backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement new systems or upgrade existing ones
- Provide technical support for employees regarding network connectivity or system functionality issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with server administration (e.g. Windows Server) is preferred
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they arise

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with accommodation provided. A free visa and ticket will also be provided for non-local candidates.
