DevOps Developer

We are hiring a talented and experienced DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to streamline the development and deployment process. Your main goal will be to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations by implementing automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and other DevOps tools and practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for various software projects
- Work closely with developers to ensure code changes are properly tested, integrated, and deployed in a timely manner
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Implement security measures to protect our systems from cyber attacks
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python), and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1100 per month without accommodation

Location: This position is based in Almada but we welcome candidates from other cities in Portugal.
