Junior DevOps Developer



We are a fast-growing tech company based in Almada, seeking a Junior DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of our innovative products.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement DevOps solutions
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible or Chef
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all stages of development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command line tools
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet or Terraform
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP)
- Interest in learning new technologies

Location: Almada, Portugal (Preference for candidates already located in Portugal)

Salary: 1200$ per month (Part-time position)
