DevOps Developer


As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools used by our development and operations teams. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve our software delivery process and build automated deployment pipelines. You will also work closely with developers to ensure the smooth integration of new features and updates into our existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Work closely with developers to identify areas for improvement in the software delivery process
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development or deployment process
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for optimizations
- Ensure system security by implementing best practices for access management and data protection
- Continuously research new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and scalability of our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a DevOps role
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line tools
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git or SVN
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Location:
This position is located in Almada, Portugal. We are open to both local candidates as well as those willing to relocate.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month without accommodation. Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
