Machine Learning Engineer

We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and improve business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, gather data, and implement machine learning solutions that drive growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms
- Conduct research on new machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and gather data
- Clean, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights
- Develop visualizations to communicate findings effectively
- Monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in machine learning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, reinforcement learning etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of SQL for data querying is a plus
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is desirable
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month for this full-time position. This is an urgent job opening so we are looking for candidates who can join us immediately. Please note that this position does not come with accommodation.
