Junior JAVA Developer



We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior JAVA Developer to join our fast-paced development team in Almada. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications. This is an entry-level position ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the field of software development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop high-quality software applications using JAVA programming language
- Write clean and efficient code following industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code to identify and fix any issues that may arise
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and quality assurance analysts

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of core JAVA concepts such as OOP, data structures, algorithms, etc.
- Knowledge of web application development using frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Biometric passport (preferred)
