We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Almada, Portugal. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. Your role will involve data analysis, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, as well as deployment of models into production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning techniques and programming languages such as Python or R. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month and visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates. This position is open to all genders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems
- Conduct data analysis and perform feature engineering on large datasets
- Train, evaluate, and fine-tune models for optimal performance
- Deploy models into production systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in machine learning techniques and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and model development
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Solid understanding of statistics and probability theory
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience with software development and version control tools like Git
