Quality Assurance Engineer


As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your main duties will include designing and implementing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of our software products
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to investigate and troubleshoot reported issues
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in the testing process and implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for QA testing methodologies and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Experience in creating test plans, executing tests, and reporting bugs using bug tracking tools
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies such as functional, regression, integration testing etc.
- Familiarity with coding languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Almada, Portugal (remote work options available)
