Senior Level Developer (Contract) - Almada, Portugal


We are seeking a highly skilled senior level developer to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a senior level developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of complex software solutions for our company. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in software development
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when needed
- Participate in project planning and estimation processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in a senior or lead role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Proficient in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preference:
While not required, preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:
- Experience working on Agile/Scrum projects
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Biometric passport for ease of travel
