Junior Android Developer


We are a rapidly growing tech startup in Almada, seeking a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop user-friendly, efficient, and scalable mobile applications
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance of the application
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development process
- Work closely with designers to implement user interface elements and design features
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and third-party libraries
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred:
- Previous experience developing mobile applications for Android platform (personal projects or internships)
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Salary: 1200$
